This is the essay written by my 6th grade son (with my help of course) that I  said I would post. The topic is a marvelous one that we feel very strongly about and he couldn't wait to share. "Imagine a world in which we lived where everyone loved their neighbour as they loved themselves." “I woke up this morning with a bright smile on my face knowing that today was going to be a wonderful day! I did a post on Wednesday with partly the same title, “God Is Not Punitive, But Karma’s Still a Bitch!” It was a pretty bold title but the purpose of that was to get your attention and to explain the dynamics of what we call, ‘karma’.  Today’s topic is somewhat along those same lines, only this time, it takes it to an even higher level and lets us know What and Who God really is  and what He wants for all of us. Please read on. The word punitive means - “ giving punishment ”.  The Bible tells us, “God is love.” (John 4) God has promised us all everything that He has.   Lotus symbolically represents karma in many Asian traditions. A blooming lotus flower is one of the few flowers that simultaneously carries seeds inside itself while it blooms. Seed is symbolically seen as cause, the flower effect. Lotus is also considered as a reminder that one can grow, share good karma and remain unstained even in muddy circumstances. I was watching an episode of ‘Tia & Tamera’ the other day and they decided to get DNA testing done to tell whether they were identical or fraternal twins.  It was very interesting to see how connected they are to each other on such a deeper level, I mean they say the exact same thing at the exact same time really often as if they are really subconsciously and spiritually in tune. I think that’s the way sisters ought to be. What makes it so great I guess, is that my two sisters and I are exactly like that whenever we are together.  It’s such a bond and close relationship that there's a hidden language that close sisters recognize and speak fluently.  Although we are  totally NOT IDENTICAL, people stop and stare us down all the time and are literally in awe at our quirky antics, inside jokes, subliminal messages and unusual approach to just about everything. Okay ladies, if you're like me and love  beauty products and cosmetics, chances are you have a junk drawer somewhere that's filled with dozens of products (sometimes multiples of the same item) and it's easier finding a needle in a haystack than what you're looking for at that particular moment. In order for any relationship to become and remain successful, the parties involved must be able to relate to each other and be “in sync” with one another. They must be able to communicate harmoniously, sharing both in equal benefits .  Divine Intelligence - The formless entity, God, our Source of all things is the primary reason for the way things work. You can say it all starts with Him. By developing an attitude of gratitude, we express how thankful we are for the ability to live and have an endless supply of the things that we need and want. This is what truly opens up the door to becoming connected to Source or to ‘the Mind of God’. God loves a humble, thankful heart. If we are closer to the source of all things good – closer to abundance, to joy, prosperity, wisdom, truth, strength, happiness, love, etc., then quite naturally we will begin to receive more of  all of these things.   It’s Monday and I didn’t go running over the weekend because hubby had work to do so I had to stay home with the kids. I am determined to go this evening though. Trouble is, I’m falling victim to the ‘Lady in Red’s’ spell and feel physically out of sorts. I’ve had a constant headache since Saturday, have TERRIBLE mood swings and am cramping like nobody’s business!
